Washington State Steelhead

The Mt. St. Helens eruption is something I remember very well from my childhood.  My uncle was a long shoreman in Vancouver and brought my brother, sister and I bottles of ash that was scooped off the freighters in Vancouver harbour.  I've read about how the eruption wiped out a great river.  The Toutle looks like so many of my favourite Vancouver Island Rivers and it appears it held fish nearly all year long from this montage of photos put together by David Rice.  Very nostalgic!

Mosquito Infested Fly Fishing

Don't be scared off by the title, the bites don't hurt or itch on video.  Plus the footage is pretty sweet.

Steelhead Shuttle

After an interesting start, there's a bunch of nice steelies caught.  The shuttle back to the vehicle after the day's float is an adventure as well.  Rated R for language.

Steelhead--Winter Edition

Pretty darn good stuff for  D Loop Media's first post to vimeo!  Of course, I am an admitted steelhead and trout addict.

Colorado Trout Eating Dries

Beattie Outdoor Productions is at it again with the trout eating dries.  This is the type of video from them that most appeals to me.

Florida Tarpon/Herring?

I have a buddy that thinks tarpon are just oversized herring.  The locals cut plug their herring for salmon but this takes it to another level.
