Gotta say, I love merino wool. I have some polypro items with lots of miles on them that seem to pack a fair stench after rehydrating with only minor sweat on any new outing. Merino wool doesn't suffer from this same problem. I've been wearing a merino wool long sleeve zip-T the last couple seasons and it's been awesome. It provides a wicking layer to keep you comfortable under breathable waders.
