Miramichi Atlantics
Played a little fastball at the Canadian championships in Nelson Miramichi New Brunswick a long, long time ago. Probably the wrong time of year for fishing and I certainly didn't know a lot about Atlantic Salmon back then. If I was there now...

Mon Strous
Wow! Browns nearing 10 lbs and a bow of 11. The fish just keep getting bigger in this South of the South Island New Zealand piece.

And Release
Although it appears to be an ad to promote catch and release, there are some piggies chasing the fly in this well filmed and edited piece.

Chuitna Mine--Bigger Than Pebble
The proposed Chuitna coal mine in Alaska would cost $6 for every dollar generated by the mine. If these stats are accurate, why would any government even consider it for approval. Read on...

Dude Can Cast
If you follow spey casting much, you've probably heard of Eoin Fairgrieve. As a student of the spey casting game, I love to watch a great caster. Eoin qualifies.

World Fly Fishing Championships 2013
I've definitely got a few competitive bones in my body but trying to outnumber somebody else's catch doesn't excite me that much. I'll take beautiful scenery, areas away from the crowds, and fewer, bigger, and more challenging fish anytime. What do you think?
Maybe something like Reel Girl in Slovenia for example.

Can't help but notice Reelgirl casts better than many of the competitors at the World Fly Fishing Championships. What are the qualifications I wonder?
Aaaaaaahhhh
Look how fast the chinooks have taken up residence after dam removal. Salmon, trout, steelhead, and all the plants and animals they nourish will be thankful.
